Do you leave the lid on the toilet open after you use it, or do you close it?

I close it. :) We have dogs that may want a drink.

I always close it

leave it open..

why would i shut it when my dogs get thirsty and im just going to hafta use it again?????

Close it. Who wants to see toilet water?

I close the lid before i flush, because the sink and toothbrushes are directly opposite it, and apparently when flushing, toilet water is thrown out of the bowl at speeds of up to 80lm/hr.

It actually annoys me when people close the lid. If I'm watching football (soccer) and having a few beers, I could be waiting for a stoppage in play so I can run to the toilet. Sometimes I only just manage to undo my pants before pee. If some tosser has left the lid down it makes me do a silly on the spot squirmy dance while I lift the lid trying not to pee.

I close it so my cat won't fall in . ( which she has done before.very funny )

I close it. My cat likes to drink from the toilet as well.

i close it because bacterias become airborne when you flush and it helps control bacteria and viruses ,

keep it open because next time i might have to go real bad

i leaveit closed cause i hear water splashes and my toothbrush is near it. also, my cat thinks shes a dog and drinks out of the toilet...
