Hi!
I found 4 Sigma Objectives, all of them 70-300 4.0-5.6
APO Makro Super II (230 )
DG APO Makro (210 )
DG Makro (145 )
DL Makro Super II (155 )
and I don't know what is the best. OK, the last 2 I wouldn't buy. About the second one I read quite good critiques, like here: http://www.photozone.de/8Reviews/lenses/sigma_70300_456/index.htm
But what about the first one? Does anybody knows this lens? Is it the same as the second one, just without "DG"?i just bought the second one you are looking at and love it. the apo lens is the way you need to go. a little slower than i would like but for that price it isnt bad at all.Go with either of the APOs. the DG version is "optimized for digital' but I bet it's actually no diferent to the other version. On that basis, I'd go with the second one (which is the one that I have (http://www.photographyjam.com/blog/46/mini-review-sigma-70-300mm-f4-56-apo-dg-macro))I know bugger all about Sigmas really as far as DG goes but a serious instructor from the local Tafe tells me, unless it is a EX dont touch one. On his advice I just got a 15-30mm DG EX. To scared to take it outside at the moment but it looks the goods.
